Thomas Huseby
Chairman of the Board
In 1997, Tom co-founded SeaPoint Ventures. Prior to forming SeaPoint Ventures, Tom co-founded and was the first CEO of Metawave Communications Corporation, a manufacturer of cellular infrastructure equipment. Before Metawave, he was the first president and CEO of Innova Corporation, a manufacturer of digital millimeter wave radios. Tom spent the first seventeen years of his career at Raychem Corporation where he held a variety of executive positions in Europe, South America and the U.S. His last position at Raychem was Group Vice President of the Industrial Products Group.
Tom is currently Chairman of the Board of Ontela, Inc., SNAPin Software and Zumobi, Inc. and is also a board member of Kineto Wireless and Mojix. He is ex-chairman and currently a board member for Airspan Networks, Hubspan, Modiv Media and SinglePoint. He is past chairman of Qpass, Telecom Transport Management and board member of Tegic and Trumba Corporation. In addition to his duties at SeaPoint Ventures, Tom servers as venture/strategic partner at Oak Investment Partners, Hunt Ventrues and Voyager Capital.
Tom has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and BSIE from Columbia University and an MBA from Stanford University.
Steve Coffey

In 1999, Steve established the Austin office of Hunt Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm with focus on technology companies. At Hunt, Steve serves as President and Managing Director where he oversees investments in software, semiconductors, and communications. Steve was a director or actively involved in such companies as Airspan (NASDAQ: AIRN), Softricity (acquired by Microsoft), and Metreos (acquired by Cisco). Prior to joining Hunt Ventures, Steve was Vice President of Hunt Financial Corporation and an Associate at Davis Venture Partners. He also has experience at EDS Corporation and Arthur Andersen, LLP. Steve has a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University and an MBA (with honors) for the University of Texas.
Paul Schaut

Paul Schaut currently serves as Chairman and CEO for Retail focused digital media leader Modiv Media. Paul also continues to serve as an independent advisor to venture backed technology companies and brings more than 23 years of sales, marketing and executive management experience as well as a deep expertise in the technology, digital and mobile marketing industries. Paul's portfolio of advisory services help CEO's leverage his operational experience and network to assist in board and / or management alignment, business development expansion, M&A strategy and execution along with many other large and small challenges faced by CEO's everyday.
During his career, Paul has served in a number of sales, marketing and executive management capacities. As President and CEO of Tira Wireless, the company had strengthened its leadership position in the mobile porting market, achieved tremendous growth, secured additional venture funding, and the Tira Jump Product Suite made its successful market debut.
Prior to joining Tira Wireless Paul served as President and CEO of Performaworks, a Goal-Driven Performance Management™ software company where he successfully ushered its growth and eventual sale to Workscape in March 2004.
Paul's most intense base of experience occurred during the heavy growth years of the internet while serving as President and CEO of Engage, where he led the company through a dramatic growth period, including the integration of ten acquisitions, worldwide expansion, closure of private funding and a successful initial public offering. Engage was eventually valued at $12 billion.
In addition to Modiv Media, Paul currently serves as an “engaged” Board Director for www.zumobi.com and as advisor to Singlepoint (www.singlepoint.com) and Ringleader (www.ringleader.com). Paul is also an angel investor in several private technology companies.
Eric Hertz

Eric brings more than 30 years of mobile industry experience, entrepreneurial vision and seasoned management skills to the Zumobi team. Most recently, Eric was CEO of Zumobi, having seen the company through its establishment in the market and successful product roll-out. Prior to Zumobi, Eric was Chief Operating Officer of Western Wireless, a successful high-growth wireless voice and data company with presence in 19 states and 11 countries. Eric also has held senior management roles at BellSouth, McCaw Cellular and AT&T Wireless. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Business.
