Technical Account Manager - Posted 2010-02-15

Zumobi is looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM). The TAM will be responsible for managing Zumobi’s relationships with publishing partners, advertisers and agencies and for providing ongoing support and direction to ensure they have a successful experience with Zumobi. Also, the TAM will be working hand-in-hand with our Sales, Business Development, Product Management, Engineering and Media Operations teams to deliver solid results for our partners.

The ideal candidate will be a client focused, results oriented and self-motivated individual able to excel in fast paced dynamic environments.

Requirements & Experience

• At least 3-5 years related partner-facing experience interacting with a technical product or service in the digital media or advertising space
• Highly motivated with ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, changing environments
• Strong account management skills
• Passion for working with people and ability to handle fluid partner interactions
• High energy, enthusiastic team player who is accountable and takes initiative
• Experience with advertising-based businesses (media companies, ad agencies) and digital media content required
• Previous experience or direct interaction with online campaign management tools such as DoubleClick, Atlas and/or Google
• Self directed – ability to operate without a lot of guidance
• Knowledge of XML, RSS, HTML and other web technologies
• Experience with APIs and Databases
• Bachelor’s Degree required

Position Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with partners to ensure they are successful and realize the full value of Zumobi’s services
• Communicate external milestones and deliverables to partners and ensure timely delivery
• Proactively suggest ideas to optimize partnerships with publishers or advertising sponsors
• Provide an excellent partner experience by anticipating and resolving issues in a manner that exceeds expectations
• Responsible for managing key campaign and sponsorship with campaign management provider
• Consult with partners to provide hands-on training and troubleshooting services during the on-boarding process
• Collaborate with Zumobi team to drive communication, prioritization, analysis, and issue resolution, resulting in the highest level of partner satisfaction
• Define, document and improve existing processes and develop best practices
